Renato Casoni

Renato was born in Rome in 1945, gaining his degree in Architecture with the highest marks in 1973 for which he wrote a dissertation focusing on the hypothesis of a linear city plan. His professional career initially saw him involved in the world of interior design, developing numerous projects redesigning private dwellings and business premises. At the same time, he successfully took part in various design competitions, winning two organized by the Municipality of Rome.

From 1985, his business activities expanded, achieving assignments from large global companies including Qantas Airways, for which he designed the offices in Via Bissolati in Rome.

From 1993 to 1998 he was tasked by the General Italian Confederation of Enterprises (Confederazione Generale Italiana delle Imprese) in Rome mainly to design various large shopping centres.Experience gained in the commercial sector and in interior design led Renato to receive important design contracts including the redesign of large, multi-functional food and wine spaces.

Yet since 2000, he has been chiefly involved in the hospitality sector, designing new images for various hotels in the centre of Rome and in the furniture sector, making the vast experience and awareness of form he has gained over many years, available to the industry.
